What is a Continuous Galvanizing Line?

A continuous galvanizing line is an industrial facility designed to coat wire continuously, without interruptions between the different phases of the process.

In this type of line, the wire advances continuously through the stages of winding, pickling, drying, heat treatment, stabilization, cooling, coating, draining, final cooling and coiling.

Optimized Process

In the traditional line, heat treatment is performed before pickling. In the continuous galvanizing line, the process begins with pickling, followed by induction heat treatment.

High speed and production efficiency

One of the main advantages of this continuous galvanizing line is its ability to operate at high speed. The electric induction systems allow annealing temperatures of between 780°C and 800°C to be reached very quickly, with optimized energy consumption and a very rapid thermal response.

Because the heating process is so rapid, it includes a subsequent stabilization phase. During this stage, the wire remains in the process for the necessary time to regain its mechanical properties, such as ductility and tensile strength.

In this way, the line combines speed, energy efficiency and final quality of the galvanized wire.
